Telling a story through Photos
Photography is my passion and I am very happy and proud to be able to make moments and emotions last through a photo, or LOTS actually! It is such a good way to cherish special moments in our lives! Everyone tells me how well I work with people which is an essential quality in a photographer. I’ve been with a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always enjoyed taking photos of people, their smiles, feeling the love and happiness through that moment, and keeping them forever.
A little bit about me
Myself and my husband are originally from Brazil, and Perth became our home more than 10 years ago. We had a double wedding with our best friends in 2012 at Rottnest Island! It was epic! Tiago and I have been together for almost 20 years, I can’t believe how time flies... I’ve been working in Real Estate for long years and that’s through this industry that we became Residents and then Australian Citizens. I feel so lucky to have two careers that I love - Real Estate and Photography! Becoming Australian Citizens was an incredible achievement, and we celebrated it by getting pregnant!
Becoming a Photographer
Since becoming a mum to handsome Zack four years ago, I decided to take my photography hobby to a professional level. I took a Photography Course and started investing in cameras, lenses and equipment. I have a home studio as well. I am always keeping myself updated and staying inspired in this amazing industry.
I've been photographing all kinds of moments, such as kids and adults birthday parties, engagement, pregnancy, newborn, baby, kids and family photoshoots and weddings. I simply enjoy capturing natural moments.
What I have to offer
If you think you are simply hiring someone to take photos, think again! You are hiring a professional photographer to guide you on the day, to help you with the planning, to select and take appropriate props and help with any details, refering suppliers, engaging with everyone, starting conversations and manage to capture the most incredible moments. And taking the stress out on the day, knowing someone experienced has got it all handled so you can simply enjoy, have a good time at your photoshoot or event. I do get involved in every single photoshoot or event I go to. I am a very calm and pleasant person to be around and I make friends very easily, specially when dealing with gorgeous little kids. :)
I deliver lots of high resolution and low resolution photos within only a few days through a link on dropbox. I know how everyone gets curious to see the photos quickly! With wedding photos I do take a bit more time, as you can imagine, the amount of photos and details I take on the day requires more time to select and edit all photos. But I do deliver a sneak peek! I use two editing programs, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and I always deliver my favorite photos in black & white as well.
I also offer photo albums, from simple books to the most sophisticated. I select the photos, put them in collages and send a proof to you before it goes to print.
